Capital Women Build is a volunteer committee of DC Habitat for Humanity that is working to demonstrate the power of women in the nation’s capital to build homes and foster community. The dedicated Capital Women Build members are fundraising and volunteering on DC Habitat’s construction site in order to help sponsor a home for the Taylor family. Capital Women Build’s predecessor, “Her House”, built three homes with DC Habitat in the 1990s. We would like to thank all of the volunteers who helped make the build-a-thon a success for their continued support. |
