Nuts & Bolts New Volunteer Orientation Meeting

New York Avenue Presbyterian Church
1313 New York Ave. NW

We ask that you attend a new volunteer orientation before your first visit to the site. These "Nuts & Bolts" sessions are held at 6:30 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month (except for August) at the New York Avenue Presbyterian Church which is located at 1313 New York Avenue NW. The church is conveniently located just one block from Metro Center and the McPherson Square metro stations.

Please feel free to join us, as there is no need to RSVP for this meeting.

On January 23rd, 2008, the Corporation for National & Community Service posted a video featuring some of DC Habitat's Americorps members highlighting their service on MLK Day 2008.

On June 20th, 2007, Bradley Glanzrock with Push Pause on Verizon FiOS 1 filed this video report from a recent DC Habitat home dedication. Push Pause features people, places, and stories from the DC metro area.

On June 10th, 2006 the Washington Post published an article about donations to housing charities being negatively impacted by rising housing prices.
