Row for Humanity
January, 2005

On January 26, 2005 George Washington University's campus chapter of Habitat for Humanity held their annual Row for Humanity fundraising event. It was held with the assistance of the school's crew team at the Marvin Center, which is located on campus in downtown Washington, DC.

Plenty of water (right) kept the participants going strong.

Information was provided (below) to all who were interested in learning about Habitat's mission and supporting the cause.

Each participant solicited pledges in support of the GW Crew team and Habitat for Humanity and rowed for one hour. Row for Humanity was an all-day event that took place from 7:30am to 7:30pm with 10% of the proceeds going towards GW Habitat for Humanity. Thanks to all those who helped make the event a success!
