Matching Gifts
Did you know that a matching gift could double or triple your own donation? Many corporations will match or exceed employee or retiree gifts. Talk with your Human Resources department to obtain a matching gift form and include it with your donation. We'll take care of the rest! Some corporations may even provide grants for your contribution of time.
Celebration and Memorial Gifts
As you plan special remembrances for family and friends, consider a gift that keeps on giving. Upon receipt of your contribution, we will send an acknowledgement card indicating a gift to DC Habitat for Humanity has been made in your name or a loved one's name.

Cars for Homes
When you donate your car, truck, boat or RV to Habitat for Humanity’s Cars for Homes program, you can help DC Habitat build homes in our community.
Donating a vehicle is quick and easy, and your donation may be eligible for tax deduction purposes if you itemize (consult the IRS or your tax advisor for more details).

Wish List
Warehouse Space:
Needed to help establish a DC Habitat ReStore. Habitat ReStores are retail outlets where quality, used and surplus building materials are sold at a fraction of normal prices. Proceeds from a ReStore would help our local affiliate fund the construction of Habitat houses within the community. Materials sold by Habitat ReStores are usually donated from building supply stores, contractors, demolition crews or from individuals who wish to show their support for Habitat. In addition to raising funds, ReStores help the environment by rechanneling good, usable materials into use.
