Planned Giving Programs
For more than 20 years, Habitat for Humanity of Washington, D.C. has been building houses in partnership with families in need — helping others help themselves to a brighter future. Our continuing goal is to provide a way for families to achieve the security of safe, affordable housing.
Working together with donors, volunteers and partners, Habitat has built more than 100 houses in the nation’s capital. These homes have provided more than 300 people with decent, affordable shelter. Habitat homeownership has the power to break the cycle of poverty housing in just one generation. Planned gifts are an important part of this success story.
As you plan for your future and the security of loved ones, D.C. Habitat has numerous planned giving options that allow you to make a meaningful charitable gift to support the organization’s homebuilding after your lifetime.
If you would like more information about a particular planned giving program, we’ll be happy to talk with you. If you have questions, please contact the Marketing and Development Director by phone at (202) 882-4600 x233 or by email at Heather.Phibbs@dchabitat.org.
