The partnership is part of “Thrivent Builds Homes”, an exciting new program expanding the home-building capacity of Habitat for Humanity affiliates and engaging thousands of volunteers nationwide. Thrivent Builds Homes is part of a four-year, $105 million alliance between Thrivent Financial for Lutherans and Habitat that will include the sponsorship of up to 500 houses per year nationwide.  In 2006, Thrivent will sponsor 312 Habitat homes in 42 states and the District of Columbia, contributing nearly $25 million between Thrivent Financial and local Thrivent chapters.
