Avalon Bay Donation Drive

Looking for a reason to clear out your closets? Support your local Habitat affiliate by getting rid of unused clothing and goods.

DC Habitat is proud to announce we will once again be partnering with Avalon Bay and the Savers Donation Network during their Spirit of Caring Month. Throughout the month of September, DC Habitat branded recycling bins will be located in Avalon Bay residential buildings across the metro area, where anyone is welcome to drop off unwanted materials in any condition. Donations can include a variety of household items such as clothing, shoes, jewelry, accessories, linens, blankets, shoes, books and towels. For each pound of donated goods, a cash contribution goes to Habitat.  Donating helps support Habitat’s mission to provide a “hand up” to home ownership for low-income, working families in the DC area.
